In 1983 Ben Cruiming created 'Band Music Centre' at the beginning only a retail shop for band music and music books in Enschede, The Nethetlands.
At this time the business was selling solely compositions, arrangments and books from the main American and European music publishers.

Later 'BMC' added own works by a couple young successful Dutch composers including Jan Bosveld, Harrie Janssen and Carl Wittrock to his catalogue.
After a short time the 'Publishing House BMC' had many contacts with composers abroad and started to publish their music.
The most succes came with the new compositions from the famous Hungarian composer 'Frigyes Hidas'.

BMC rapidly made a name for itself in many countries around the World and in 1996 the first contact with Stephen Melillo from 'Stormworks®' ,
at the Midwest Orchestral and Band Clinc in Chicago, was a fact .

In 1998 Ben Cruiming decided to stop with 'BMC' and he founded in cooperation with Stephen Melillo the company: 'Stormworks® Europe'.
As an independent Dutch company, 'Stormwork® Europe' started his own catalogue with the old own BMC publications supplemented with the exiting compositions from Stepen Melillo.

A STRONG AND POWERFUL COMBINATION FOR THE FUTURE..................
